Tungsten Ore Flotation Organic Inhibitor

Among tungsten ore flotation inhibitor, sodium silicate is the most widely used one. It has wide application field. However, sodium silicate can not always solve the problem, such as when it encounters gangue. So organic inhibitor is needed.

Organic inhibitor can be divided into macromolecule inhibitor and micromolecule inhibitor. Macromolecule inhibitor includes tannin, starch, pyrogallic acid, sodium humate, sodium lignosulfonate, white water. Micromolecule inhibitor includes oxalic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, malic acid, lactic acid, succinic acid. They are effective in dealing with gangue.

For example: Oxalic acid, succinic acid lactic acid can inhibit barite and garnet. Citric acid, lactic acid can inhibit mica and quartz silicate minerals. Tannins inhibit calcite and other gangue minerals, calcium, magnesium minerals. Starch, sodium humate, sodium lignosulfonate, white water can inhibit quartz, calcite, fluorite, garnet and other gangue. Coke gallic acid in the use of oleic acid as a collector flotation separation of fluorite and calcite, with it to suppress calcite and surfaced fluorite, is said to be effective in inhibiting hematite without affecting the tin flotation.
