Grouting Slurry Requirements

The principle of grouting is based on the free flow of the slurry and the effective dewatering of the slurry. In order to ensure the smooth process of the forming process and obtain the high quality of the body, there are some basic requirements for the grouting slurry, such as fluidity and stability.

1, Liquidity Requirement
To ensure that the slurry flows freely in the conveying channel and mold cavity and distributary to the specified position, the slurry is required to have good fluidity. Fluid flow and viscosity often have a contradictory relationship, that is, good liquidity, also means that the viscosity of the fluid is small. Therefore, to ensure the fluidity of the cemented carbide slurry, it is necessary to reduce the viscosity of the slurry, which requires that the viscosity of the mother liquid is small.

2, Stability Requirement
The grouting process will continue for a period of time, if problems occur during the stratified slurry, the final products is bound to unqualified. So, it is necessary to ensure that there is no stratification when the slurry is placed for a period of time, which is the requirement for the stability of the slurry.

3, Deformation Requirement
Slip under external stress when the deformation is not too big, not too small. In this way, the blank will not collapse because of the slight vibration, and it will not cause the difficulty of pouring because the deformation is too small.

4, Water Content Requirement
In the premise of guarantee slip with appropriate liquidity, as far as possible to reduce the water content of the slurry, which can shorten the grouting time, also can increase the body intensity.

5, Filtering Requirement
Liquid in the slurry can smoothly through the attached mud layer in the cavity wall and absorbed by the mold, can be improved with the adjustment of raw materials.

6, Strength Requirement of Blank Body
This requires the formation of slip body has a certain strength.

7, Mold Unloading Requirement
The body formed after forming slurry is easy to demoulding.

8, Bubble Content Requirement
This requires bubbles in the mud as little as possible.
