Rare earth market update on September 3, 2026

The overall domestic rare earth market was relatively dull, with prices of most products showing no significant changes for the time being, few new orders, and industry participants having average confidence in the future market.

Today, the prices of europium oxide, gadolinium oxide, and dysprosium oxide were approximately RMB 175/kg, RMB 202,000/ton, and RMB 1,460,000/ton, respectively.

On the light rare earth market, trading activity was relatively low. With suppliers having low willingness to make concessions and magnet material enterprises being cautious in procurement, upward movement of product prices encountered resistance, while downward movement had support. On the medium and heavy rare earth market, terbium and dysprosium prices maintained stable operation due to the relatively balanced supply-demand relationship; however, holmium and erbium prices have recently fluctuated upward, mainly attributable to the strengthening of strategic attributes and rising speculative sentiment among traders.

The new autumn and winter clothing of JoEone equipped with this fabric is soon to be launched. The successful development of this fiber product has opened a new path for the industrialization of new rare earth materials, empowering the high-quality development of the textile industry through technological innovation.
