The overall domestic rare earth market maintained a stalemated operation. Against the background of a relatively balanced supply and demand pattern, product prices fluctuated within a reasonable range, while trading activity in the market was low and actual transaction volumes were limited.

Today, the prices of praseodymium-neodymium oxide, terbium oxide, and dysprosium oxide were approximately RMB 757,000/ton, RMB 6,530,000/ton, and RMB 1,420,000/ton, respectively.

In the short term, affected by factors such as tight funding, slow transmission of downstream demand, and relatively ample spot market supply, downstream users had low willingness to inquire and purchase, thus making it difficult for rare earth prices to rise significantly in the short term. In the long term, the demand for rare earths from downstream industries such as new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, and permanent magnet motors is gradually expanding, and the future rare earth market is still expected to heat up.

In terms of news, recently, Sichuan Garze Prefecture held a video conference on the special campaign to crack down on and rectify illegal mining of rare earths, gold, tungsten, sand and stone, and other mineral resources, requiring the strengthening of the connection between administrative law enforcement and criminal justice based on big data, focusing on rare earths, gold, tungsten, sand and stone, and other mineral types, carrying out carpet-style inspections of mining sites, old mine adits, abandoned mining areas, closed mines, sand and stone processing sites, planting and breeding sites, and other areas, strictly cracking down on illegal and criminal activities, and strengthening rectification and source control to ensure the effectiveness of the campaign, and making every effort to safeguard the prefecture's mineral resources and ecological security.
