As a new type of energy material, the thermoelectric material has a lower environmental pollution than the traditional petrochemical materials. It is a significant environment friendly material.

Thermoelectric material is mainly oxides, oxide thermoelectric materials can be divided into N, P, for the N type oxide material is mainly ZnO and TiO2, were both a n type semiconductor material, it is also a kind of "d0" oxide, which has many characteristics at the same time. In order to enhance and strengthen the thermoelectric properties of N type oxides, some scholars have studied the synthesis effect of WO3 ceramics doped with TiO2 and ZnO.
It is found that the conductivity of WO3 ceramics can be significantly changed with the doping, and all electrical conductivity increases with the increase of temperature. With the continuous increase of TiO2 doping concentration, the conductivity of the sample tends to become smaller and larger. The possible reason is that the second phase, which is produced in the smaller amount of doping, is ZnO0.3WO3, however, with the increase of doping concentration, the second phase changes into ZnO0.06WO3, and all the elements of the synthetic material have the same trend. This shows that ZnO and TiO2 Co doped WO3 based ceramics are still a kind of N type thermoelectric materials, and doping does not change the properties of WO3 based ceramics as N type thermoelectric materials.
In conclusion, the power factor of WO3 ceramics doped with ZnO and TiO2 metal oxides has been improved, which is mainly attributed to their electrical conductivity of WO3 ceramics to varying degrees. When the doping concentration of TiO2 is 2mol, the electrical conductivity of WO3 ceramics is the most obvious. The maximum power factor of 3 transition metal oxides was measured at 1023K, the experimental data show that the sample has good thermoelectric properties at high temperature.
