Tungsten prices continue to trend downward amidst market fluctuations; current bearish sentiment stems primarily from cautious demand and a periodic buildup of raw material inventories. 

Procurement by the cemented carbide sector and downstream industries is largely conducted on an as-needed, batch-by-batch basis to avoid accumulating high-cost inventory amidst uncertainty. Large-scale transactions are scarce, and there is now greater room for price negotiation. Short-term market expectations remain relatively weak, with industry participants awaiting new price quotes from industry bodies and major tungsten enterprises, as well as signs of a recovery in downstream purchasing interest. Ammonium Paratungstate (APT) Price: RMB 700,000/ton, down 54.0% from its peak, up 4.5% since the start of the year.

European APT Price: USD 2,900–3,250/mtu (equivalent to RMB 1.745–1.956 million/ton), down 2.1% from its peak, up 234.2% since the start of the year.

Tungsten Powder Price: RMB 1,120/kg, down 53.3% from its peak, up 3.7% since the start of the year.

Tungsten Carbide Powder Price: RMB 1,070/kg, down 54.3% from its peak, up 2.9% since the start of the year.

Cobalt Powder Price: RMB 500/kg, down 13.8% from its high and 3.9% since the start of the year.

European Ferrotungsten Price: USD 200–225/kg W (equivalent to RMB 952,000–1,071,000/ton), down 34.6% from its peak, up 54.6% since the start of the year. 

Scrap Tungsten Carbide Rod Price: RMB 770/kg, down 50.3% from its peak but up 13.2% since the start of the year.
