Analysis of Latest Tungsten Market from Chinatungsten Online
At the beginning of April, tungsten prices trended downwards. Profit-taking by holders and heightened fear of high prices among buyers eased the supply shortage at mines and smelters, leading to a slight weakening of prices.
However, influenced by international geopolitical uncertainties and rising inflation risks, the market's long-term expectations for tungsten as a strategic resource remain strong, and the current price adjustment is generally considered a normal fluctuation within a rational range.
It is worth noting that the lagged effects of the previous sustained rise in tungsten raw material prices are becoming apparent. Coupled with increased global energy, logistics, and labor costs, the operating pressure at all stages of the industry chain has significantly increased. Domestic and international cemented carbide tool companies plan to raise prices significantly in April and May. This news has boosted price support in the scrap tungsten market, but given the current volatile market environment, buyers' willingness to purchase is relatively limited.
China Tungsten Online believes that the tungsten market will maintain a slightly weak trend in the short term, with a clear battle between bullish and bearish sentiment. Both buyers and sellers are not very proactive, and the market trading atmosphere is cautious and subdued.
