Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles may be used as heat-insulating functional particles to prepare near infrared shielding material such as heat-insulating film, heat-insulating coating, and thermal insulation dispersion. These materials, which can shield most of the heat in the sun (near-infrared), may be applied to automotive glass and architectural glass. So, why do we need to shield near infrared rays in the sun?

Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles may be used to prepare infrared thermal insulation nano material such as thermal insulation film and thermal insulation coating, and thus be applied to architectural glass. According to the "National Environmental Pollutant Environmental Health Risk Inventory Physical Volume" published by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, near-infrared rays are harmful to our eyes.

Experts said that the infrared ultraviolet shielding material such as transparent thermal insulation coating prepared by using Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles as functional particles can have an ultraviolet blocking rate of over 99%, and the near-infrared shielding rate can reach more than 85%.

Cs0.32WO3 particles are cesium tungsten bronze nanoparticles that may be used to prepare thermal insulation coatings and thus be coated on automotive glass to obtain heat insulating window glass. Among them, some experts found that the untreated raw material cesium tungsten bronze powder has a small and uniform grain size. The grains show a regular rod shape, and most of the nanorods have a length of about 50nm.
