The shares have received a hold rating based on the suggestion from 5 analysts in latest recommendations. Strong buy was given by 3 Wall Street Analysts. The shares had a buy rating from 1 analysts.
 
Kennametal Inc. (NYSE:KMT) stock has received a short term price target of $ 35.71 from 7 Analyst. Kennametal Inc. (Kennametal) is a supplier of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials consumed in production processes. It operates in two segments: Industrial and Infrastructure. The Companys product offering includes a wide selection of standard and customized technologies for metalworking, such as metal cutting tools, tooling systems and services, as well as advanced, materials, such as cemented tungsten carbide products, super alloys, coatings and investment castings to address customer demands. Dimar Enters Composites Market With Proprietary Tungsten Carbide Grades

Dimar Tooling (Ft. Lauderdale, FL, US), a global manufacturer of cutting tools, is entering the UK composites market by launching a range of products specifically designed for composite materials.

Dimar is known for tooling solutions to the industrial woodworking industry and has been a global producer for more than 50 years. Dimar says the experience gained, especially in dealing with composite wood materials, has enabled the company to develop proprietary grades of carbide, along with geometry in tooling solutions, to combat similar challenges in the composites market.

Dimar’s entry into the composites market came about after composite engineers asked Dimar to help overcome delamination problems along with short lifetimes on existing tools. Using their skills and experience in working with wood composites, which creates similar problems when cutting, engineers at Dimar set about developing proprietary grades of tungsten carbide which, combined with the geometry, resulted in a new range of tools that can avoid delamination and can give up to eight times the life of other carbide tools.

Dimar has already launched its new composite cutting tools in the USA and is now working closely with aerospace partners, including contractors for a leading aerospace company, where Dimar's burr tools have given measurable improved performance, along with substantial cost savings.
