2023年上半年，北方稀土預計實現歸母淨利潤101,705萬元到107,705萬元，同比减少67.48%到65.56%；實現扣非淨利潤98,700萬元到104,700萬元，同比减少67.71%到65.75%。
2023年上半年，北方稀土業績預减的主要原因是報告期內稀土行業受市場供求關係影響，以鐠釹産品爲代表的主要稀土産品價格自年初以來持續下跌。據中鎢在綫統計，2023年1-6月中國氧化鐠均價576,441元/噸，同比約降40.96%；氧化釹均價607,797元/噸，同比約降40.97%；氧化鐠釹均價571,085元/噸，同比約降40.52%；鐠釹金屬均價693,907元/噸，同比約降41.44%。
